MEET STEPHANIE
Owner and Stylist
I became a licensed hairstylist in 2007, graduating from Weymouth High Schools vocational program. Since then I have worked at several salons across the south shore learning from talented stylists and honing my skills before opening Haircraft By Stephanie in 2019. I have trained extensively in Paul Michell Color and Products as well as other premium hair care brands like Pravana, Redken, Bokka Botanica, Amika, Olaplex, and Global Keratin. I specialize in fashion fantasy hair color, color correction, haircutting, and bridal styling. I incorporate my love for hair into every appointment and strive to create a look that will leave you feeling as great as you look!
Being an artist at heart, I love creating beautiful things with my hands both inside and outside of the salon. In addition to hairstyling, I am a crafter and jewelry maker. My handmade pieces are created with love and healing energy, featuring wire wrapped healing crystal pendants, beaded crystal bracelets and earrings, as well as a variety of home décor pieces. As a Reiki 2 certified practitioner, I believe that energy flows through everything, and I infuse my crafts with the same intention as I do with my hair styling. Explore my collection, available in my salon studio and at Verbena Studio in Sandwich, as well as various vendor events I attend along the south shore, and find a piece that resonates with you.
Finding balance and joy outside of work is important for mental health and wellbeing, so when I'm not working my magic in the salon or crafting beautiful works of art, you can usually find me curled up somewhere with a good book or taking care of one of my 172 houseplants, which is not as big of an exaggeration as you probably think! My bedroom is a small jungle complete with its own tiny orange tiger, Icarus, my mischievous & crazy but cuddly cat who's never too far away, often trying to disrupt my reading with his shenanigans, which usually consists of messing with my plants or demanding attention by trying to sit in the few inches if space between me and my book.
